Self Reflection

         I would like to tell my experience since I attend ENGL 0309 during this 4 weeks. To be fair, at the beginning of the class, I do not really understand to make a better essay with a good structure. In my mind, the essay is only a bunch of words that consist of many paragraphs that will be correlated each other. However, since I join this class, it can give me a better perspective about what essay is like and how to attract the readers keep reading my article. As the time pass by, I realize that I have some improvement in myself such as I can make a good paragraph with a clear structure and can develop my idea to think widely related with writing skills.

        I find some improvement in myself such I can make more structural essay which is general to the particular draft. In the learning process, Mrs. Widdy explains to us how to make a better article and divide the students into some group. For me, by learning in a group, it will give much benefit to increase my understanding since I force to think carefully and I can work together with another friend. By that learning system, I can measure my ability from them, and I can learn from the mistakes that we made together. Besides that, ENGL class can help me to develop my idea to think widely related in writing skills. Before I attending 0302 and 0309 class, I believe that I really lack in developing my idea into a good paragraph and essay. Then, after participating in the class, I realize that my idea is easier develop and I turn it into a beautiful essay and article.

     Besides some improvements that I have, I realize that I need more improvement, especially with grammatical usage. In my perspective, grammar is a quite crucial problem, and I realize that it is quite hard to maintain.  In the process of writing, I usually take a long time to thinking about the correct grammar in every single sentence. I hope that by joining the tutorial class, I can improve myself in the grammatical usage. Besides that, I take a long time to thinking about the thesis that will be starting my essay, since the essay should be as accurate and clear. In my opinion, I need to take more practice to decide a particular thesis to begin my whole article.

      At the end of the words, ENGL class is really helping me to improve my writing skills and develop my idea to think widely. However, I hope that I can fix my obstacle in writing especially in the grammar usage and decide the particular thesis. By fix that problem, I wish that book can help me to travel around the world by attending the international conference. Thank you, J

How to Prevent Nervous During the Exam

Examination plays a major role in student’s academic record. It is because examination will give a high contribution to reach an expected mark. Examinations can measure student’s ability whether they will mastering the subject or not. It will give the teacher a clear overview of the student’s capacity and improvement during the learning process. Usually, in one semester students will have a bunch of subjects that they will examine such as English, Mathematic, business, and education. However, most students state that they feel fear and anxiety (Dickson, 2015). It is because they are forced to think hard to get the best answer. Therefore, make a plan, study properly and review the lessons are some tips that can help people to increase their confidence to face an examination.

To begin with, students need to do is make a plan. In this case, students need to set up plan such as deciding a learning strategy that will apply to increase understanding about the subject that they learn. For instance, preparing music as their supporting tools to enjoy their study. It is because they believe that by listening to the music, they will increase the concentration and it can impact their intellectuality (Hallam, 2016). However, the learning strategy between each person is different it is based on their learning styles such as auditory, visual, verbal and physical (Laurier, 2008). In addition, students need to prepare a schedule that they will learn. For example, five subjects will be examined in the first week. Students can divide those items into some parts in a particular time. By preparing a schedule, students will use their time wisely to split the individual subject that they will learn and it will help them more organized.

After students follow the first step, students need to study properly. The study is the primary key to breaking out student’s obstacle in facing the exam. For instance, Students need to learn the subject that has been decided before. To support that, students also may add some different way to understand the concept such as make a mind map. The mind map will help people firmly understand about the lessons, it because mind map provides the student with the branches that will impact to their imagination. In order, of making a mind map, students need to limit the time to make a good time management. For instance, the student can divide their time 2 hours for studying math and 2 hours for studying English. By doing that, students will have a clear timeline so they can use the time wisely. In the other hand, for those students who have not study properly, it will break down their optimistic to answer the question.

        After students following those steps, now continue to the last step which is reviewing the lessons. In this step, students can do intense practice in order as a reminder for students. For instance, students can do five sheets mathematic question in limited time. It may help students to implement the theory that they learn, besides that practice can increase student’s ability to remember the lessons. In addition, students may also go to the social life to review the lessons together with another friend. By reviewing together, students can measure their ability to show their improvement through discussion. Besides that, they can discuss something that they have not find the solution to solve. For example, students have not found the solution of math, because they did not attend the class. In this case, friends can guide you to solve the problem.

In the whole words, make a plan, study properly and review the lessons to prevent nervous during the exam are three tips that may help people to increase their optimistic when facing an exam. Make a plan will help people to have a good preparation to set a plan, study correctly will lead the student to increase their understanding into the basic concept, and review the lesson will give people to remember through the power of practice. So, students need to struggle to reach the maximum score that it will impact on student future and career because the future belongs to those people who struggle with every obstacle.

How to clean a toilet

To make a toilet spotless, one must follow these several steps: preparing the equipment, rinsing the toilet with water, applying the toilet cleaner, brushing and wiping the toilet, and flushing the toilet. First of all, one must prepare the toilet equipment such as brush, toilet cleaner, piece of cloth, gloves, and disinfectant. After all the equipment have prepared, now start to the next step which is wear the gloves and rinse the inside of the toilet by flushing it and outside the toilet by pouring water using the bucket. The next step, apply the toilet cleaner throughout the toilet then wait about 10 minutes until the toilet cleaner took effect. Afterward, brush the inside of the toilet, and wipe the outside of toilet with a piece of cloth dipped in the disinfectant. Then, after one follows those steps, now continue to the last step which is flushing the toilet by pressing the button on the toilet to clean the inside of the toilet. Finally, make sure that the toilet and around it is clean from the messy things. In the whole word, if one follows those steps perfectly, they will successfully clean the toilet as clean as the new one.

How to make delicious spaghetti

To make a delicious sphagetti, one must complete these several steps carefully: preparing ingredients and equipments, boiling the sphagethi, preparing the sauce, and adding some toppings. To begin with, one need to prepare ingredients such as sphagetti, chopped meats, tomato, sphagetti's sauce, tomato 's sauce, and toppings. Besides need ingredients, one also needs to prepare equipments such as pan, stainer, wood spoon, and plate. Secondly, if all ingredients and equipments have prepared, now boil the sphagetti in 100 degrees celcius temperature within 10-15 mins, string it gently and if it has been already smooth enough, pull it  out and move it into the plate with stainer to the further steps. Moreover, one need to make additional sauce with slicing the tomato into eight parts, then mixing those parts with tomato's sauce and chopped meats include the sphagetti's sauce. Afterward, pour the mixture sauce to the top of sphagetti that has provided on the plate. If one has completed those steps before, now continue to the last steps which need to add some toppings like cheese, almond or something according to self appetite on the sphagetti. On the whole, if the cook follow those steps perfectly, they will successfuly make a delicious sphagetti forever ever, after.
